My uncle Gordon who was my nanas brother built and ran popeye for many years. My mum used to drop me off on popeye and I would ride up and down the river Torrens with him when mum went to town, so Popeye and uncle Gordon were my babysitters for the day. I have very fond memories of this when I was a little girl.
